Saints Row Rebooting! Set For GamesCon Reveal

The Saints Row official website has been revised with a big picture of a brick wall with the word “rebooting” spray-painted on it. A recent tweet by Mr. Keighley stated that “The Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation will be bossing it with announcements”.

A well-known reference to the character in Saints Row. Sources have cleared out that the reboot will be a whole new game and not just a remake/remaster. We will get to know more at the GamesCon.

In the 4th game, Steelport turns into a Matrix-like simulation created by the game’s alien villain, Zinyak. The player disrupts and ultimately demolishes the simulation in order to find and kill evil.

There were superpowers involved. The latest version takes place in New Hades, the capital city of Hell. It included the new flying mechanics and its activity-based story. The water was replaced with hot molten lava!

The new launch is expected to introduce something new and enticing.

The brick wall representing the news of the reboot has some drawings that hint towards it. A demonic presence and paranormal environment, maybe taking a page out of Doom Eternal.
